Woo! It's done.
I did the modeling in Maya, texturing in Zbrush and Photoshop. Some things I would like to fix about it later, but for now, IT'S DONE, YES!! Created for an independent study. so many hours of my life. T^T I'm especially happy with how the textures came out. It's all self-illuminated, meaning there are no lights in the scene. They're all in the textures. Goal was to make a model with under 5k polys and a really tight texture map. Made a lot of changes to the boots/chest because of UV limitations or to add interest  Based off this concept: [link] Stuff I eventually want to fix: adjust some of the lower poly areas to not be so blocky. Lighten up the darker areas of the texture a bit.. I mostly just got lazy with seams. Adjust the spec map. Maybe redo her shoulder pads.. and make a functional rig that's not busted. |
